Andrew's beginnings in show business date back to 1988. He first appeared in front of an audience at the age of five, reciting poetry by Jack Prelutsky for his elementary school talent show. Using a prop scroll made by his mother, he listed the "28 devine creations, too delicious to resist" from Prelutsky's 'Bleezer's Ice Cream.'

Andrew would go on to appear in nearly 20 theater productions before graduating from high school. Some highlights included Ali Hakam in a critically acclaimed production of 'Oklahoma!' with the Bellevue Youth Theatre and Snoopy in 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown' with the Promethean Players in Seattle. His work also included the role of Stage Manager in 'Our Town' and a tap dancing sailor in Cole Porter's 'Anything Goes' with Seattle's Encore Playhouse.

As his stage career flourished, Andrew was also asked to appear in a televised public service announcement that emphasized the importance of middle school in Washington. The role lead to a hosting position with The School Zone, a weekly televised news magazine show that aired across the state.

It was during this time that Andrew wrote, produced and directed 'Cuts and Scratches,' a 40-minute film that would go on to win the first prize in the Northwest Film and Video Festival, landng it a spot in a televised premiere.

Since relocating to Los Angeles, Andrew has worked as a host and producer for On Point, a weekly talk show airing in Southern California. His credits also include Nip/Tuck on FX and a role in the Columbia Pictures feature Walk Hard alongside John C. Reilly and Morgan Fairchild. In June of 2008 he directed and co-produced The Eyes, a short film for the Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Festival.
